Funny little shop they have. It looks like an adult porn shop but its a gadget shop:) I looked outside and noticed it was winter....but I was pretty sure I was on mainland. Checked the map and so I was....I didnt know there were mainland regions with fulltime winter settings. So I inspected the map a little more to see what was going on. I saw a populated area and jumped just outside of it, but still accidentally landed on someone... And what did I find! A carnival! http://slurl.com/secondlife/Pando/230/243/102
Now I have been to several carnivals in SL. But this one looks the most authentic. A little seedy and all lit up at nite like a Christmas tree. Food vendors, working arcade games, even Ski Ball, and all the carnival sound effects. An operating bowling alley, theatre..alot to see here. I did ride the jet ski ride, it was pretty cool.
Across the street is a classy little jewelry store called Primagine. Inside to the left are two free gifts. The one pair of earrings pictured on the box looks very pretty and decent quality. Upstairs they have a scripted locket for only 99L. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Pando/230/243/102
I got a strawberry snowcone at the carnival and that reminded me of the bakery at Alcemy Immortalis.Sirenes et Moineaux Patisserie is a decadent little French patisserie and chocolaterie.
The ambiance, the creations, the sounds, its all amazing. I got a Macintosh apple that really sounded like when you bite into a crisp apple! This is one of those places where the details are never left out.
This bread table is actually mouthwatering. Pecan-Encrusted Pumpkin Rum Bread, Foster Banana Bread,Three Cheese and Beer Quick Bread,Braided Apple Streusal Bread to name a few. And several even offer you the recipie for free!
On the cake table to the right of the door is a free copper kettle. Its in the small box to the left of the kettle.
For those who believe in magic...down the hill is a cottage with some free magic books in a window sill.
The whole sim is worth seeing tho. Its a recreation of Ireland from memory, as they describe it.
You may need your walking stick:)
